Who We Are

Experienced. Practical. Rooted in Wisconsin Industry.

Meet the Principal

At the center of Wisconsin Safety Consultants, LLC, is Ryan Sharron, CSP — a safety leader who believes deeply in protecting the people who keep Wisconsin’s industries moving. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he specialized in construction safety and built the technical foundation for his career. His career has taken him through some of the most demanding environments in manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding, mining, and defense, where he earned a reputation for calm leadership, practical solutions, and measurable results.

Ryan’s approach is grounded in respect for the people doing the work. He understands the pressure on executives, supervisors, Human Resources teams, and companies trying to manage safety with limited resources. His work has helped organizations reduce incidents, strengthen culture, and build systems that make safety feel achievable.

Ryan’s track record is defined by measurable results. He has led safety programs that achieved a 70% reduction in Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR), a 100% reduction in Lost Time (LT) incidents, a 10% improvement in Experience Modification Rate (EMR), and a 20% decrease in required training time, placing his organizations well below industry averages. Earlier in his career, his teams earned both a Congressional Service Award for maintaining safe operations during the COVID‑19 pandemic and a Shipbuilders Council of America award for significant reductions in TRIR, LT, and Days Away, Restricted, or Transferred (DART). His approach blends technical compliance with executive coaching to help leaders and teams build proactive, sustainable safety systems.

After choosing Manitowoc as the place to build his family and future, Ryan founded Wisconsin Safety Consultants, LLC, to give local companies access to the level of expertise typically found only in large national organizations. His mission is simple: to stand beside the people who care about safety and help them succeed.

Invest in safety leadership that’s built for Wisconsin.
